Women sitting in after the two prostrations

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Ilyas Patel

What is the ruling in the Hanafi school for a woman, in the obligatory and non-obligatory prayers, to sit after the 2 sajdahs in the 1st and 3rd rak’ahs? Is this considered to be makruh tanzihi? Jazak Allah khayr.

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the name of Allah Most Compassionate Merciful

I hope you are fine and in the best of health and iman.

Relaxation sitting (jalsa istitirahat) is somewhat disliked (makruh tanzih) and against what is preferable (khilaf al-awla) in the Hanafi school. It is to sit for a moment after the two prostrations when standing up for the second or fourth rak’at.  If one has an excuse, then one can sit for a moment, or stand up with support, and this would be recommended.
