Small holes in khuffs

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Salamalaikum. I have a pair of khuffs and I have a very small tear (about the size of a pinhole) though the leather on one of the khuffs. Could you please tell me if it is permissible or not to wipe (do masah) over khuffs even if they have holes on them?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaikum,

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.

It is permitted to wipe over khuffs with small holes (namely, less than the extent of three toes). [ Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah ]

Please see this related link:

What is the ruling of wiping on khuffs? When is it liked, when is it disliked, when is it other than that?

And Allah alone gives success.
