Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani
Ihave read in talim ul haq, that if one makes wudu and then does not pray, he can not pray the next fard salah except by making fresh wudu? meaning that if one makes wudu he must pray, in order to pray other salah without repeating ones wudu? I myself and many brother make wudu at home before we go to work or at work but dont pray any salah then, except the next salah? Is are salah valid or not? will we have to repeat are prayers? Is this ruling just for fard prayers? e.g. one makes wudu in the morning before one goes to work, there is no salah to pray then? When at work zuhr time reaches, we pray with the same wudu, if we still have it? is this correct or not?
Walaikum assalam,
Check what you read: this is not a condition in normal circumstances, only when one has a chronic excuse. [For the fiqh of this, see attached answer.]
As long as you don’t invalidate your wudu, [See attached answers], you can pray as many prayers as you like with them, for as long as the wudu lasts.
Wassalam,
Faraz Rabbani.
