how is eid salah prayed behind an imam who does not perform six takbirat al-zawaid in the eid salah. or local imam i performs 12 takbirat…i think its a similar case in the haramayn. what about behind imams of the four madhabs. How does a hanafi follow?

One simply follows the imam with regards to the number of takbirs in Eid. The preference in the number of takbirs is one of recommendation, not necessity. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]
And Allah alone gives success.
