Is it permissible to wipe directly over feet (masah over feet) with water with the hand (not over shoes or socks) than wash them?

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.
There is agreement of the Sunni schools of law that it is not valid to wipe directly on the feet themselves (without a khuff or its like). (Nawawi, Majmu`; Ibn Qudama, al-Mughni; Ibn al-Humam/Marghinani, Fath al-Qadir `ala al-Hidaya)
And Allah alone gives success.
