I was asked this question “I know that wudu is broken when the air is passed or doing small sins etc but does it break when we see our self naked in mirror, or swearing by mistake, looking at a girl (I am sure this will break), getting angry, touching your private parts or someone else, kissing your spouse, out of blue you day dream of bad thing without intension” that person needs every thing he asked another question is he said he is getting into sin like looking at naked pictures and to stop going in to major sins he does in bed “you he said” is he doing wrong and will Allah forgive him because he is doing that to stop himself from going into major sins.” please help me answer this question.
Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
1. Wudu is not broken by sin, whether small or big, though it is recommended to make wudu (and, ideally, pray 2 rakats during non-disliked times) as a form of expiation and manifestation of repentance.
2. A list of that which nullifies wudu follows.
3. Masturbation and looking at naked pictures’ is forbidden and highly sinful. One must take all means to avoid these. Use Ramadan, which is here, as a month of ridding oneself of the sins that distance one from Allah.
As advice: be careful of the company you keep, and how you spend your free time. If you don’t keep the company of religious people, and don’t spend your free time in wholesome or worthy pursuits, you will find yourself falling into sin
And Allah alone gives success.
