What makes a person mazoor and how to deal with urine drops during wudu and salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Assalamualaikum warahmatuallahi wabarakatuh

What things make a person mazoor?

I have a problem that after i urinate i make every effort to exclude the final urine drops. But as i put some tissue around my private parts, i know when im doing wuzu for the next salaat, a drop of urine comes out

Sometimes no urine comes out whilst doing wuzu but after ive performed my salaat and i check the tissue, it is obvious a drop came out sometime in salaat, and i dont even feel when the drop is coming out. So i have to repeat my salaat again on my own.

This is a major problem for me and my salaat with jamaat. Ive heard that it takes no more than 15 mins for the final urine drop to come out, for me 1,2 or maybe even 3 hours after ive urinated, a drop or two still come out

Please help.

wassalaam

Answer
Bismillah

Assalamu alaikum,

A person who does not find sufficient amount of time to make Wudhu and perform Salaat because of any such reason i.e continous Urine drops, which continues throughout one full Salaat period, will be regarded as Ma’zoor.

The excuse must be continuous – for one full Salaat period. If a person manages to keep his Wudhu for 5/10 minutes in the entire Salaat period with which he is able to perform his Salaat, then he will not be a Ma’zoor. Also, If a Ma’zur experienced another factor (bleeding etc.) besides the excuse due to which he is classified as a Ma’zur, then his Wudhu will break.

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
