Clarification needed from mufti on khutbah and famous hadith context.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
respected mufti sahib,
i have 2 questions to ask, firstly regarding a hadith in nasaa’i wherein nabi a.s mentions the worst khateeb is the one who says ‘wamai ya’sihimaa’ in the khutbah, he should rather say ‘wamai yasillaha wa rasulahu’ please shed some light on this hadith.
secondly regarding the famous hadith, ‘khayrukum karni thumalazina yalunahum……………’ many people say the words ‘kayrul kuruni karni………..’ is this context found in the books of hadith if so please state the appropriate kitab with page number jazakallah hu khairan

Bismihi Ta’ala

1) The reson for this Hadith is, that once Rasoolullah heard a Khatib recite the words ‘ Mayyuti illaha wa rasoolahu faqad rashada wa mayya’sihimaa’ without taking a breath after ‘faqad rashad’. The meaning is thus, ‘whoever obeys Allah and his Rasool is rightly guided and whoever dosobeyes them two.’ This meaning would be incorrect as their would be no distinction between those who obey and those who disobey. Rather, the khateeb should stop after ‘faqad rashad’ take a breath and then continue with the next sentence, ‘wa mayya’sihimaa fa innahu la yadhurru illa nafsahu’, or ‘Wa mayya’sillaha warasoolahu fa innahu la yadhurru illa nafsahu’. By taking the breath inbetween each sentence, he will be correctly distinguishing between those who obey and those who disobey.

2) This Hadith maybe found under the chapter titled, ‘Manaaqib ussahaabah’ in Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, pg, 553&554 (Qadeemi Kutub Khana), two Ahaadith, narrated by Imraan Ibn Husain and Umar Radiallahu anhuma respectively.

And Allah knows best
