Answer

Answer

In the name of Allah the Majestic

When one is performing the act of Tawaaf it is Sunnah to have the upper garment of the cloth in such a manner that the right shoulder is exposed and the left shoulder is covered. Doing this is called “Ijtibaah”. It is Sunnah in all of the seven Tawaaf (Fatawa Shami, Vol. 2 Pg 181).

To expose the right shoulder is only for the act of Tawaaf and should not be preformed for the reminder of the Umrah or Hajj.

And Allah knows best
