is it true dat if u tlk about dajjal den one chain brakes

Answer

Answer

No, it is not true, there is nothing in Ahadith or Quran or anything in which we were taught that proves or says this to be true.

Dajjal will be released by the will of Allah and not by the action of Man.

On the simple logical explanation given below, one can conclude that the statement of the chains breaking each time his name is mentioned is false: the explanation is thus: Rasulullah said that every Prophet warned his nation about the Dajjal, and it is in this nation he will appear.

It has been narrated by Sayyidinah Ibn `Umar: Once Rasulullah stood amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah as He deserved and then mentioned the Dajjal saying, “l warn you against him (i.e. the Dajjal) and there was no prophet, but warned his nation against him. No doubt, Nuh warned his nation against him but I tell you about him something of which no prophet told his nation before me. You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not one-eyed.” (Bukhari 4.553)

There were approximately 124 000 true Prophets of Allah. This means that the name of Dajjal was mentioned over 124 000 times (because all the Messengers of Allah warned their nations more than once during their lifetime). Thus the chains which hold Dajjal must have more 124 000 links.

Secondly each time a teacher and student mentions the name of Dajjal, whether it is in class, or in lectures, Bayans, books etc and this has been done for many millenniums both before and after the advert of Islam. Even now the name of Dajjal is been mentioned somewhere in world, then one can conclude that the chain must have over a billion or more links.

How can one dignify such a statement by saying that it is true? If the chain was this long then the Dajjal would have been able to roam the earth freely while still been bound by the chains. Thus the purpose of the chains (which is to hold the Dajjal) is not fulfilled.

Lastly, if one believes that the chains are broken by the mere mention of his name then one could say that false statement that we should not talk about Dajjal, which is fallacious. But all of the Messengers of Allah spoke and mentioned his name. If the Ulamaa and Ustaads (teachers) stop teaching this knowledge then we will loose it for ever and be unprepared for Dajjal when he appears.

In conclusion the saying that the chains of Dajjal break each time his name is mentioned is untrue. Is one wishers to learn about the Dajjal then one should refer to the Ulamaa-e-Haq and to the authentic Ahadith (traditions of Rasullulah).

And Allah knows best
