Does mispronunciation by the imam invalidate salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Salam,

say if the imam is incorrectly pronouncing words in salah, does this invalidate the salah? Like for example the Imam says “zaalikah” instead of “dhaalika” and instances such as these?

and also, is it recommended or is it fardh to recite every single letter of a word correctly?

Answer
Wa Alaikum Salam,

If an Imam pronounces letters incorrectly knowing that he is reciting them incorrectly and he also has the ability to recite the letters correctly then the Salah is invalidated.

It is Fardh to recite the Qur’aan with Tajweed (Correctly) which includes every letter.
