I have spent countless hours trying to find a reference to a practice I see some individuals perform when they lead prayer. I have not been able to find the answer.
When one leads Fajr or Asr prayer, I understand that he should turn away from the Qiblah direction before commencing the Dua (following the Saalam) and follow it with Tasbeeh (Subhaanallaah), Tah-meed (Al-hamdulillah), and Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar). However, I see certain individuals who change this order during Fajr and Asr. They claim that during Fajr and Asr, the Dua should follow after the Tasbeeh, Tah-meed, and Takbeer. Is there any basis for this?
A comprehensive answer would be appreciated.
Jazakalla
