Taraweeh behind a non hanafi

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Salams dear repected ulema,

I was praying taraweeh in regents park masjid last night.
In the last four rakah the imam prayed it as one complete unit, with one taslem, without performing jalsa in the middle. Is this permissible?

I would also like to know the differences between the shafies and the ahnaaf on the prostration marks when performing salah.

JazakAllah Khair.

Answer
Wa Alaikumus Salam,

Praying four Rak’aats in one go for
Nifl or Sunnah Salah is permissible. However, the Jalsah after two
Rak’aats is Waajib. Therefore, if it was missed deliberately then the
Salah will not be valid.

Please explain what you mean by “prostration mark” as a new question.

And Allah knows best.
