Can I pray, read Quran, and fast with vaginal spotting due to medical contraception?

assalamualikum
due to the contraception i use (contraception is for medical reasons) i have vaginal ‘spottings’ which is small drops of blood everyday. can i pray namaz and read the quran and fast?

Answer
Waalaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Bismillahir rahmaanir rahim.

Yes you are allowed to pray, recite the Quraan and fast so long as the spotting does not occur on the days that you usually have your menses as this will then make it haram for you to do the aforementioned acts due to it being your haidh. During the period of spotting, the rule of istihaadhah apply so please observe them.
