Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah’s guidance)

Riba (usury) is Haraam & a major sin.

Allah Ta’ala says, “O you who believe, do not consume interest, double & multiplied. And be conscious of Allah in order that you may be successful. (3:130)

Allah Ta’ala says, “And Istafziz [literally means: befool them gradually] those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and any other call for Allah’s disobedience), make assaults on them with your cavalry and your infantry, mutually share with them wealth and children (by tempting them to earn money by illegal ways usury, etc., or by committing illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and make promises to them.” But Satan promises them nothing but deceit. (Surah : 17, Ayah: 64)

Abu bakr Siddiq (ra) said:”The one who takes and the one who gives interest will go to the fire.”

We seek forgiveness from Allah! Ameen.

Earning a Living is a must.

A Muslim is not only obliged to earn money but is obliged to earn Halal money.

Rasulullâh (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has said: “The quest for a lawful livelihood is an obligation (like all other) obligations in Islâm.”

Consumption and Submission

The Noble Qur’an directs the Ambiya in the following words: “O Messengers of Allah! Consume what is pure and act righteously.

Also The noble Prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa salam) has forbade us to take (eat) usury and give usury.

Even the noble Prophets alayha salam were specifically directed to consume halal, because there is a definite link between consumption of halal and submission to the directives of Allah Ta’ala. The capacity to act righteously is directly related to the consumption of halal.

A body nurtured by haram becomes incapable of submission to Allah Ta’ala, for honesty is light and falsehood a darkness, both are naturally incompatible to each other. The overshadowing darkness of haram blots out all rays of light from the heart. An individual is then unable to implement the laws of Allah, nor is he able to conduct his dealing in an honest manner. Halal income breeds halal thought and action, while haram income breeds haram thought and action.

So, it is advised that you work for your own living.

Know, if one leaves something for the sake of Allah, surely Allah will give him/her better than what he/her left. Allah Ta’ala Says : … And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. … [65:2-3].

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
