Why do Hanafi Mazhab prohibit prawns, mussels, and calamari while other Mazhabs allow all sea food?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Assalaamo-alaikum,
I undestand that according to the Hanafi Mazhab prawns, mussels and calamari are not permissible. All the other Mazhabs allow all food from the sea.
Why and what is the logic behind the Hanafi (some) ruling?
Jazakallah and Wassallaam.

Assalamu’alaikum w.w.

Is this person an Alim?

If he is ask him to check Mufti Taqi Saheb’s
Dars-e-Tirmidhi pages 278-284. Dalaa’il have been
mentioned in detail.

Is not a question of logic rather a matter of
difference in Ijtihaad. Logic only comes in to play
when there is no nas. (Nas – i.e. Qur’an or Hadith
text).

Wassalam.
