Can I perform wudhu while treating my scalp with a solution that should not be touched by water?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Assalamu Alaykum,

I have these pains which I need to treat by rubbing a solution onto my scalp. The doctor said that no water shoudk touch it whilst I leave it on for 10 hours. However, i know that Salah will occur in between for which i will need to do wudhu. Am I allowed to just pass water over my head or does the water have to wet every hair etc. like normal wudhu?

Please could you answer this before fajr.

Jazakallah

Wassalam

If you are allowd to perform Masah, then this would be sufficient in this case. At the very least, if possible one should make quarter masah of the head which is Fardh.
