Reciting durood after the first tashahhud

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it right that we should recite At-tahiyat and durood after the second rakaat of sunnat ghair muaqqadah?

Bismillaah

A: It is better and more rewarding for one to recite the durood after attahiyaat in the first tashahhud of a four rakaat Sunnat ghair muakkadah Salaah. However if one did not recite the durood and stood up after the tashahhud, the Salaah will be valid.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
