Superstitious beliefs

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am in big trouble. Please let me know if I am doing magic? Actually I had a 5 year relation with a boy and we were about to get married, but he cheated on me for a non-Muslim girl. I left every thing on Allah and left them, but I was totally depressed as I trusted that guy so much. My friend took me to a lady she said she takes no money and she will do something for you for sure. That woman said that the non-Muslim girl did black magic on that boy and I will cut that black magic and she asked me to give 3000 for that purpose, and she asked me to come after one month. She gave me a yellow thread, a blue knotted thread, some taweez but nothing is written on them and she asked me to put them under a heavy object. She also gave me lemon to put it in my room and a blue thread. On giving me she asked me to call that boy’s name and asked me to put this thread in seven tissue papers. Now my question is, is she a fake or a real one? My only intention of doing this is to save that boy from black magic as he gone insane. I recite manzil daily and in my imagination I blow on him. If this is magic then please tell me what should I do next?

Bismillaah

A: Leave all this superstitious behaviour and beliefs and make taubah to Allah for your illicit relationship and trust in Him.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
