Unable to wake up for fajar

Q: I understand that the five Salaah is fardh. However, I just can’t open my eyes and wake up at the time of fajr. What do I do?

A: Try to have a light meal and immediately after Esha you should retire to bed. Set two or three separate alarms to help you wake up. In addition to this, you should take a short nap in the afternoon (qailoola – siesta). May Allah Ta’ala make it easy for you.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
