Q: I saw a video in which aqeedah of deoband was mentioned. The scholar said that in shamaim imdadiya vol 1 pg 37 it is mentioned that it is shirk to distinguish between the worshipper and the worshiped.He said that the deobandis believe that Allah is not different from his creation.What is the correct aqeedah of deoband, please reply?
A: These are all false allegations. Any ordinary Muslim knows exactly that this is absolute falsehood. There is no substance in this and if the person quoting this is a reliable person then he would quote it with the original text from the original books. He will not just suffice with the translation.
