Urinary Incontinence and Reciting Qur’an: A Question for Mufti Saheb

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Mufti Saheb you have helped me many times with urinary incontinence problem. My problem is getting worse everyday. Can you tell me how should I recite Qur’an because drops of urine come even at the time of istinja. I can’t even do istinjaa properly, so please answer me how should I recite Qur’an?

Bismillaah

A: If you are a ma’zoor then you will make wudhu at the beginning of every Salaah time and perform Salaah and recite Qur’an. Through the coming out of urine, your wudhu will not break. For further details regarding the ma’zoor you may refer to http://muftionline.co.za/node/1571

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
