Non-Muslims emulating certain aspects of Islam

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What answer can be given to those who say: How can keeping the beard to a fist length can be classified as Sunnat while even the jews, hindus etc keep long beards? Please give a jami’ answer.

Bismillaah

A: The non-Muslims emulating any aspect of Islam will not cause that aspect to be impermissible or worthy of being left out.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
