When should one commence reciting Rabbana-lakal-hamd?

Q:

  1. When following the Imaam, is Rabbana-lakal-hamd recited while getting up from ruku, or once in the standing position?
  2. What is best to recite after getting up from ruku? I have been told slight variations of the above.

A:

  1. One should recite it in the standing position.
  2. In Fardh Salaah the Muqtadi should recite رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْد behind the Imaam.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
