Balancing Respect and Efficiency: My Struggle with Wudu and Urine Drops

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I just read a question about urine drops. I have a similar issue so I tie tissue and walk. The thing is I go to washroom like 3 to 4 times a day. Sometimes it’s during Alim class. After studying تعليم المتعلم I had more zeal to have wudu all the time especially during the time I deal with my books. The thing is I wait the 15 to 20 mins. So I wanted to know if that will decrease in a persons knowledge if he goes and sits in class without wudu. This is not often but like it happens. And there are various other scenarios where I would have to leave to go home so I carry my books without whudu due to the tissue being there. I want to show the utmost respect but what ends up happening is I waste time and less studying gets done.

A: Just go with the tissue to class and thereafter you could renew the wudhu after an hour or two.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
