Haraam Restaurant Manager Appointed as Musjid Trustee: Controversy Ensues

Q: Can a person serve as a mutawalli at the mosque if he is a food and beverages manager in a hotel which serves non-halaal foods and alcohol?

A: Such a person should not be appointed as a mutawalli of the musjid.
