Din I Illahi: A New Religion for King Akbar’s Time – Agree or Disagree?

Q: I have read a lot about the new religion followed during the time of King Akbar called Din I Illahi. Do you agree to the things mentioned in Din I Illahi as it was derived from all the religions?

A: Islam is a pure religion in belief and action. Islam does not tolerate and accept any type of incorrect belief or action. The multi faith religion introduced by the king Akbar in his era was a concoction of various forms of disbelief taken from different false religions. This was not a religion, instead it was kufr and shirk. How can Islam ever tolerate such filth?

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
