Is Parcel Insurance Necessary for Safe Delivery?

Q: In the place where I live, majority of the time when I posted parcels in and around the country without insuring it, the parcel hadn’t reached. However everytime I insured the parcel it reached. Is the insuring permissible in this case.

A: If the post office charges you one price for the delivery and they of their own insure the goods it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
