Taking a qasam on something besides Allah Ta’ala

Q: Is is jaaiz to take qasm like this: la amri as in the poem ‘haaza la amri fil fiaali badeeu’

A: It is impermissible to take a qasam on anything besides Allah Ta’ala. As far as the qasam in the poem is concerned, poems cannot be used as a Shar’ee precedent in Deen.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
