Attending functions of non muslims

Q: Is it permissible to attend functions of non muslims like weddings etc, were you know acts of kufr will be taking place?

A: It is not permissible. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said that the one who attends a gathering wherein sin takes place and he adds to the numbers of the gathering through his presence will be counted among such people in the sight of Allah Ta’ala.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
