Q: I have been told to not apply itr when leaving the home at night (after Maghrib). The scent apparently attracts Jinns which is said to be bad. Please advise on the authenticity of this belief.
A: This is not established in the Ahaadith of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
