Can I eat of a goat which a Muslim who is not particular of his Salaah slaughtered

Q: If a muslim who peforms salaah only in ramadan and in the remaining months performs sometimes jumah salaah slaughters a goat or a halal animal, can I eat of it?

A: If a Muslim slaughters a goat in accordance to the prescribed method of slaughter (i.e. with reciting the tasmiya) the animal will be halaal.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

فَكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّـهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُم بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿الأنعام: ١١٨﴾
