What is the last posture in which a person can join the Jamaat Salaah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the last moment within which if a person joins the Imam in congregation Salah then he will get the congregation?

A: We have not come across a clear text explaining the ruling for such a situation. However, most ulama are of the opinion that his joining the imam will be valid if he joins the imam in the last posture i.e. tashahhud before the imam can make salaam.
