Only part of the palm and the tips of the fingers touching the ground in Sajdah

Q: In sajdah if the two hands are placed on the ground but only a part of the palm and the tips of the fingers are touching the ground does this affect the salaat?

A: It is not the correct way but the Salaah is valid.

( ويسجد واضعا ركبتيه ) أولا لقربهما من الأرض ( ثم يديه ) إلا لعذر ( ثم وجهه ) مقدما أنفه لما مر ( بين كفيه ) اعتبارا لآخر الركعة بأولها ضاما أصابع يديه لتتوجه للقبلة

قال الشامي في رد المحتار : وحيث تظافرت الروايات عن أئمتنا بأن وضع اليدين والركبتين سنة (رد المحتار 1/ 497-499)
