Passing Wind in the Musjid: Permissible During Sleep in Jamaat or I’tikaaf?

Q: Is it permissible to pass wind in the musjid if one is sleeping in the musjid e.g. in jamaat or i’tikaaf?

A: It is better that one leaves the musjid to pass wind. Through one leaving the musjid to pass wind the sunnat i’tikaaf in the month of Ramadhaan will not break.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
