Q: What is the virtue of increasing recital of durud sharif in the month of Rabi’-ul-Awwal as propagated by some who hold “Durud Challenge” in this month?
A: Durood should be recited all the time. There is no extra virtue that is reported in the hadith for reciting extra durood in the month of Rabi ul Awwal.
