Q: At the time of Baith on the hands of Imam Mhadi who will be the superior people the first group or the Abdals. Molana Yusuf Sahab Khandalwi R.A. told there be 313 peole having same iman like that of Badri Sahabi.
A: The standard for acceptance in the court of Allah Ta’ala is taqwa. Allah Ta’ala states:
إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّـهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ ﴿الحجرات: ١٣﴾
“Surely the most noble and honoured amongst you in the sight of Allah Ta’ala are those who possess the most taqwa. Surely Allah Ta’ala is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”
Hence the one who leads a life of taqwa and adheres to the complete Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in every facet of his life will be the most superior servant of Allah Ta’ala in this time as well as the time when Mahdi (Radiyallahu Anhu) will appear.
وعن معاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه قال : لما بعثه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى اليمن خرج معه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوصيه ومعاذ راكب ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمشي تحت راحلته فلما فرغ قال يا معاذ إنك عسى أن لا تلقاني بعد عامي هذا ولعلك أن تمر بمسجدي هذا وقبري فبكى معاذ جشعا لفراق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم التفت فأقبل بوجهه نحو المدينة فقال إن أولى الناس بي المتقون من كانوا وحيث كانوا رواه أحمد (مشكاة رقم 5227)
