Q: Please advise about saffron, how one should use the same, whether it is sunnah or not.
A: Saffron is a food ingredient. I haven’t come across a hadeeth where saffron was used as food. However Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) prohibited men from using saffron as a dye for clothing etc.
