Trimming Hair and Clipping Nails While Fasting

Q: What is the ruling about trimming ones hair and moustache and clipping of one’s nails whilst fasting? Is it permissible?

  

A: Yes. It is permissible.

(هو ) لغة ( إمساك عن المفطرات ) الآتية ( حقيقة أو حكما ) كمن أكل ناسيا فإنه ممسك حكما ( في وقت مخصوص ) وهو اليوم ( من شخص مخصوص ) … ( مع النية ) إلخ

و في رد المحتار: قوله ( وهو اليوم ) أي اليوم الشرعي من طلوع الفجر إلى الغروب (رد المحتار 2/371)
