Water Entering the Anal Passage While Fasting

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Will the fast break if water enters the anal passage while fasting? How then should a person make istinja whilst fasting?

Water Entering the Anal Passage While Fasting

A: Generally, the water does not reach the point that is counted as the internal passage. Rather, it goes to the top of the passage and not beyond.
