Q: I have had a vaginal discharge that is whitish yellowish/cream in colour. This discharge has been for years. After the birth of my child it is still there. It is very uncomfortable since my underwear gets stained and I just feel napaak. The gynaecologist says that it is normal… But I don’t know whether I am paak or not. I have been changing before each namaaz or when I feel the discharge and the salah time set. This is very difficult especially when going out. I will be going for umrah inshallah. PLEASE advise me what I should do since to make whudhu and change at every salaah is very difficult in the haram. PLEASE advise.
A: Such discharge will be regarded as napaak (impure) and it will break one’s wudhu. Hence, you will have to renew your wudhu for namaaz etc. whenever such a discharge is experienced.
