Explaining hijaab to a non-Muslim

Q: What do I say to a non Muslim if they ask why has Allah ordered you to wear hijab and how come men don’t if they don’t understand that Allah orders us and we follow?

Bismillaah

A: What is the need for entering into dialogue with people who do not understand basic things. The same question can be asked that if men are allowed to have their chests open then why do women conceal those areas.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
