Q:
1. Is it advisable to travel for a funeral to another island?
2. Can we delay the funeral activities for any means?
A:
1. If it is that you also need to offer condolences and comfort to the bereaved then it is permissible.
2. The shariah has recommended that the process of janaazah should be hastened.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
