Taking an oath not to talk to one’s son

Q: A woman who lives next door held a book containing 5 surah of the Holy Quran and said that she won’t talk to her son ever again but her son wants to talk to her and she also wants to talk to him, so what should she do?

Bismillaah

A: She should make taubah for doing this, and she should resume talking to her son.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
