Ghusal after relations with one’s husband

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Im newly married… After intimate relations with my husband we have to do gusal, but someone told me that I dont have to wash my full body. I can wash half my body, from navel down to my feet. Is this true?

Bismillaah

A: You do not have to take a full bath immediately if the namaaz time has not yet approached. You can delay as long as you do the ghusl when the namaaz time is about approaching.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
