Attending the musjid when one has a contagious disease

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If one is physically able to make it to the musjid but has a contagious disease (flu, measles etc.) must he attend?

Bismillaah

A: It is permissible for him to attend the Musjid. However, if people feel inconvenienced through his presence in the Musjid, then he should perform salaah at home.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
