Wudhu after istibraa

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1. I have a sickness of urine drops coming out after I urinate. I keep a cloth or a tissue with my undergarments for the urine drops and then I wash (istanja) before I make a fresh wudhu, is it right for me to pray?

2. Secondly, can I recite Quran after doing the above or do I have to do ghusal?

3. I am going for umrah, can I wear some tissue or a cloth by using a rubberband or tape to collect the urine drops?

Bismillaah

A: 1. Yes.

2. You can recite.

3. Both are permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
