Placing Christmas trees or decorations in one’s shop or home

Q:

1. Is it permissible to place a Christmas tree or Christmas decorations in our Muslim shops?

2. And if we are employee in a non Muslim shop, and the employer ask us to decorate with Christmas decorations etc, is it permissible for us to do so?

3. In our homes, is it permissible to place Christmas tree or Christmas decorations?

Bismillaah

A:

1. This is totally incorrect.

2. Refuse to do it.

3. Obviously, it is the same rule.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
