Overcoming OCD with Islam: Is There a Cure?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I have been affected by ocd for 6 years. I’m tired of it. I lost all hope in life. Is there any cure for it in Islam?

Bismillaah

A: What we have found effective is that one should not pay attention to it. Carry on with life as a normal person. Thoughts will go in different directions. Initially you will find it hard, but as you will get used to the idea it will become easy and manageable.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
