Keeping the Mubaarak Hair of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to keep or exhibit belongings of Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) like hair and nails?

Please provide any reference.

Bismillaah

A: It is permissible to keep the mubaarak hair of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as this is a means of barakah and blessing. There are many Ahaadith reported in the books of Hadith which show that the Sahaabah kept the mubaarak hair of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and his clothing for barkat. For the details, refer to Takmilah Fathul Mulhim.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
